So quick to defend based on artistic output
As if it counteracts the damage that's been done
Unfairly blame the victim for speaking out
And then you wonder why so few come forward

"Separate the Art from the Artist" translates as I'm happy for this to continue for the sake of personal enjoyment

Ignorance is not bliss for victims of abuse

Abusers don't belong on the front of magazines
Or in venues full of impressionable fans
Unless we make it clear that this isn't right
